About Colossal Mining Corporation
Colossal Mining Corporation was incorporated to engage in the business of exploration, mining, mineral processing, buying, trading, and selling of iron ores and other mineral products.
A quarter of a century ago, mining was the backbone industry of some provinces in the Philippines due to the abundance of its iron ore deposits. The Philippines was one of the major exporters of iron that has contributed significantly to the industrialization of Japan.
We take the initiative to build upon the heritage of our predecessor. With the goal of revitalizing Philippine Mining Industry, our team of skilled personnel aims to transform our natural assets into a marketable commodity in the form of high-grade iron.
Our organization believes that strong exploration and development strategies of ore reserves are crucial components to our endeavor. This principle guides us, as we become a fully integrated mining company and a primary producer of first-rate iron concentrate. The enhanced mining capability would allow us, not only to expand our Asian market, but would also eventually encourage the establishment of secondary industries locally, such as foundries and construction materials plants to further process iron ores concentrate into finished products. Thus, it is seen as a “hope” to revitalize the mining industry, thereby pulling the Philippines out of its economic slumber.

Colossal Mining Corporation ventured into offshore mining to expand its goal in revitalizing the Philippine Mining Industry.
With the lifting of the temporary suspension order on the acceptance and processing of all mining applications on offshore areas by the Department of Environment and Natural Resources, We took the initiative to revisit and reinterpret the data that was initially conducted by the Mines and Geosciences Bureau (MGB) in collaboration with Coordinating Committee for Offshore Prospecting/United Nations Development Program/ Economic Commission (CCOP/UNDP) for Asia and the Far East under project RAS/86/138 which covers the northwestern Luzon offshore.
Worth remarkable on the surveys conducted is the data gathered along Lingayen Gulf where an economical detrital magnetite deposits has been delineated. These potentials are reported and published at the CCOP/UNDP Technical Bulletin and several MGB technical reports.
Colossal Mining Corporation holds 5 individual exploration and mining permits covering APPROXIMATELY 80% OF OFFSHORE MAGNETITE IRON ORE sites in the identified magnetite iron ore potentials in the North Western Luzon Offshore, Lingayen Gulf and the Province of Cagayan.
